Angels, Pink Geraniums, Mint, and More

Things are exploding, in a good way, outside the little apartment.

The pink geraniums are being very generous with their beautiful blossoms.

As soon as one blossom falls to the ground, another one takes its place and blooms.

Same with the overhead pink petunias. They are such lovely flowers.

The mint plant sitting next to the geraniums is growing taller and stronger every day.

Every time she's watered, the most wonderful, peppery fragrance fills the air.

Humming birds love the sweet sugar water put out for them.

Their tiny wings flutter furiously non-stop as they drink their fill.

The angel overlooks everything, bringing peace and welcome to all.

Summer, in all her glory, brings great gifts which fill hearts with deep gratitude, especially to be alive.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF SUMMER?

Your front porch area is charming, Susan. Those hanging pink petunias are so pretty, and what a striking color. I hope you get the hummingbirds visiting you often. That mint would be great for a tea. The angel is so special, and you know I love that charming white wicker chair.

I guess my favorite part of Summer would be the ice cream, pistachio being my favorite. And aside from the heat, it's pretty here in the mountains, and so peaceful with all the birds. I like the cold drinks too - iced tea, lemonade, and peach. And just the sun warming our bones after a long snowy winter.

Hey Susan....sure looks lovely at your place. The flowers are doing great and the color is beautiful....something has happened to the hummingbirds around here. We had several coming and they have suddenly stopped...not sure why. Same with all of my neighbors. Glad they are liking your place. My favorite part of summer is that my daughters are out of school for the summer. They are both dyslexia teachers. We do a lot of going when they are out of school...It is way too hot in Texas to enjoy the outdoors once those 100 degree days start.
