Bring on the Pink!

While the familiar and traditional red and green colors of Christmas are cheerful,  pink is the chosen color around here.

Pink is a bit different, and is a happy, pleasant color.

The front door wreath, made by my talented daughter, even has a Santa dressed in pink and tiny pink trees on it.

A pink bow is what it needed.

So, my artistic sister, Barb, made the prety pink velvet bow with wire edges.

Unfortunately, it gets a little squished because there is a storm door in front of the regular door.

While it provides extra warmth from the bitter cold temps, it also pretty much presses the wreath and bow when it's closed.

No problem for me because one can still see the pretty pink shade of velvet through the glass.

DO YOU PREFER ANY COLORS OTHER THAN RED AND GREEN FOR CHRISTMAS?

Your wreath is pretty, Susan, and that was nice of your sister to make you a pink velvet bow for it. I have one of those storm doors at my house too. We call them screen doors, but I like the name 'storm door' better. I love the colors white and silver at Christmastime too, but I gotta have my red and green every season. : )

Very pretty wreath Susan. I have red and green outside on my door. I know you love pink so enjoy yours. Inside I have a red poinsettia plant too and red bows on things ...
