Good morning, sweet and faithful blog peeps!
This week is ramping up to be super busy with wayyyy too much scheduled.
Next week will be better with less "to do's."
In the meantime, hang in there and spread joy, even if it is through a simple smile at a stranger.
HOW IS YOUR HOLIDAY SEASON COMING ALONG?
Oh my season is good so far. I've a lovely red poinsettia plant on my dining room table that gives me hope and joy. I have all my decorations up in the house. I have twinkling lights outside which shine on my garage door and I'm baking cookies this Friday. I am going to a Christmas play on Saturday and a party on Saturday night. I love this season.
ReplyDeleteHey Susan...you are so right...a busy time indeed. I think the reason I am so busy is because we will be gone from Monday next week until Sunday! That is a whole 6-7 days that I will be missing on getting my list done. Hopefully it will get done..
ReplyDeleteI'm not that busy—just doing the regular stuff I always do. This Saturday, I'm wreath-laying at the Veterans Cemetery and praying it doesn't rain, and I'm attending a chili cookoff at my church on Sunday. It's been a lovely season so far because we both decided not to overbook our calendars. I'm enjoying the peace.
ReplyDeleteHave fun this week with all your events -
Susan looks like you are getting ready for Santa...yes great idea to spread joy with a smile - hubby and I went with other members of our church last evening and did Christmas Caroling at four different nursing facilities. Think that is going to be a special part of this Christmas season. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOur house it slowly getting gussied up for the holidays. We're doing a bit of Christmas shopping today. We have a mail strike on in Canada, so there is no flurry this year of getting Christmas cards and note written and in the post. Although I love writing Christmas cards, I am somewhat relieved this year. Will do a few hand delivered card to friends and neighbours nearby and send texts to people farther away. Enjoy your week, Susan.
