Lots of traditions come and go.
Generations differ in what's appealing and worth following and what's not.
Greeting cards seem to have gone out the window with some members of the younger generation.
For myself, an older woman, for sure, I still LOVE greeting cards.Every time I hear the "clunk" of mail being dropped into the mailbox outside of the apartment, it makes me happy.
"Maybe there will be an Easter card today," is the thought that flashes through my mind.
Sure enough, many have definitely come as you can see by all the cards taped to the front door.
However, not all of those are from this year.
The tendency to save cards from year to year is definitely part of my traditions. ha ha ha
Here's hoping you have a peaceful and blessed Holy Week.

I love cards as well...I received a card from a blog friend last week and it totally made my day. It really is the simple things.
I hope my card got to you for Easter this year. I love cards and also save them.. I enjoy sending them as well as receiving them. We oldsters will stick together and keep the card tradition going...ha.
So many wonderful Easter cards, Susan, taped on your door. I love getting surprise cards and notes in the mail too. I especially like that first one you have shown with the lambs, it's precious. Like you, I still appreciate sending cards and receiving them.
love to you this Easter week. : )
