It is Independence Day in America.
Our beautiful flag will be flying in every state.
May we never, ever take Democracy for granted.
May we always strive for our freedoms and our beliefs.
May we protest and let our voices be heard when we see something happening that is wrong.
May we fight for justice and for the oppressed.
May we find our greatest treasures, not in our bank accounts, but in our families.
May we honor God for letting us live in this great country.

The founding fathers must be turning in their graves over the mockery of a budget bill that just passed congress, resulting in more hunger and lack of access to Medicaid. The noble essence of the 4th of July is being desecrated by the Orange Hitler and his minions. As a Republican I'm ashamed of my party, I hope everyone has a happy holiday celebrating what's left of the Republic.
