Lights, Plants, Relaxation!

We don't decorate our spaces all at once.

Decorating is a step by step task that falls into place over the course of time.

I love big, tropical plants but, alas, there's not much room here in my current place of residence because it's a small apartment.

However, in corners or in narrow spaces magic happens!

For instance, in a very narrow space to the side of a buffet there was room for one (faux) plant!  It nestles a favorite lamp with red shade and a big bouquet of red flowers.

At night, when at the computer or watching tv, this space brings calm, comfort, and a smile or two.

Here's to your Friday being blessed.  Stay cool!

I love that 'magic' space you created, Susan. It's cozy and pretty. And you're so right, we don't decorate our spaces all at once. It's an ever evolving experience, where we're always adjusting, adapting, changing, and hopefully improving.

Happy Friday!

That's a charming space in your house, Susan. You have all your favorite things; the angel, golden birds, and a cozy candle. I always have to stop for red flowers and red birds. Your red flowers are so pretty. For that being such a narrow space, you sure did a great job making it all work. I so love the dark traditional furniture.

Have a lovey and peaceful weekend, Susan.
