Notebooks, Notebooks, and More Notebooks

Sometimes it seems that most details of life end up in notebooks.

Certainly, I've always jotted things down in notebooks but it's even more so as the years tick by.

Nowadays, it's imperative to write things down lest the details get forgotten.

So there's an everyday notebook that goes into my purse.

In it are recorded things that need to be done today as well as  all the goals needed to be met in the near future.

Then there is the budget notebook.

The details of every penny that goes out of my purse goes into the notebook. It's a kind of depressing document but necessary.

For example, if I wonder where that $20 bill went, all I have to do is open the notebook and the explanation is there.

A separate notebook for passwords and email addresses is very important as is the address book with old and new addresses in it.

The list of notebooks goes on and on.

In a way, it's nice to know that all the books I want to still read or the movies I'd like to see are written down in notebooks.

Recipes, too, get rounded up and written down. Yah, I know that all we have to do is go to the computer and find 8 million recipes or more but it's still nice to have winners written down for quick retrieval.

So, me thinks that notebooks are going to be around here for a long time, well, at least for the rest of my life, however long that will be.

DO YOU WRITE THINGS DOWN IN NOTEBOOKS?

I keep a notebook of my daily expenses and bills I paid.
That's the only notebook I have that I write in . Other appointments etc. are written on one of my many calendars. Glad you have your stuff organized.

That's a good idea to have notebooks in your daily life, Susan. When I first saw these, they reminded me of journals, which I love to write in from time to time. I do make lists of things that need to be done, and check them off when finished. And I do have a notebook for addresses. That's a good idea to have a notebook for passwords. I was thinking the other day, "why do we have so many passwords in our every day lives?" Hard to remember them, aren't they? I like the cover of your little yellow notebook, so pretty.
