Farmers markets are really a lot of fun.
This is a fairly rural area so many of the markets have produce from rich soil.
Just about any veggie one can imagine is available.
The baked goods are divine and the people who run the stalls are usually totally darling.
Went to one in a small town this week and brought home scones, a homemade challah bread, and Lebanese delights.
Brought home for supper was a squash, roasted red pepper, and feta cheese concoction that tasted absolutely wonderful.A couple glasses of iced hibiscus tea made all the walking in the sun during the day quite worth it.
Hibiscus tea helps lower blood pressure, you know, and a lot, too!
I am still on the hunt for some delicious granola but that will have to wait for another day.

Yum....hibiscus tea sounds so refreshing. Makes me want to make a pitcher of this tea today. Sadly, it is way to hot for any nice outdoor events around here (for this time of the year). We do have a HUGE first Monday each month, but no one really wants to go during the summer months. Still enjoying your beautiful red flowers from yesterday Susan....so pretty..
I have iced Hibiscus tea in my refrigerator too Susan. It's sweetened and tastes good . Enjoy your farm fresh foods.
