Write It, Cross It Out, Forget About It

Rather than lament that certain changes are happening as we age, I like to recognize them and then take action.

For instance, when there are numerous household tasks that need to be done,  I grab a notebook before the cleaning cloths.

Everything, every tiny detail that I'd like to accomplish, must be clearly written in the notebook.

Sometimes weekly goals get in there, too, but more than likely, it's daily tasks that are written down the most frequently.

It really helps to keep going each hour of the day and it's immensely satisfying to draw a nice, black line through the completed task.

Some days, almost everything on the list gets done by day's end.

On other days, only a partial number make the finished grade.

Today, since there are two pages of things that need doing, probably only some of them will get that cross out line!

DO YOU WRITE DOWN THINGS YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IN ONE DAY?
