That's why it's important to do as many things as possible that make us happy.
If it's eking out enough time to read a chapter of a favorite book, despite heavy schedules, do it.
Maybe a hobby you love has been dormant for awhile. It's time to revive it. Even 15 minutes a day doing something we love counts.
It's hard to discard greeting cards received but if one is living in a small space, it's inevitable.
However, the card shown at the top of this post is a fave and a keeper.
Luckily, saving pretty, and meaningful cards, makes me happy!
WHAT IS ONE THING YOU LOVE TO DO THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?
Hi Susan! As a matter of fact, I am taking today and spending time with my paper crafts that I enjoy. First I'm cleaning out a box of stickers and making room for some new ones that I bought at Hobby lobby yesterday. I'm waiting on a new planner to arrive in the mail and then I will spend time decorating pages there. I just finished one book yesterday, so I'm not sure if I will start another right away or skip a few days. I love having some time to be creative. It really feeds my soul :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning Susan.. I enjoy spending time in my yard, watering my pot plants and just admiring the beauty of the flowers. Since it so hot outside right now, I've been focusing on my inside projects like journaling and working on my book. Plus...I've been enjoying working on the things that I'm doing for our grandson's upcoming wedding. Wishing you a sweet weekend and hope your temps there are cool.
ReplyDeleteWell, you know I love taking pictures, especially of nature, and that always makes me happy to download the pictures I've taken. But I like decorating the house, like you, for the seasons as well. I have also kept some greeting cards, but there would be too many to save them all. I can see why this card is one of your favorites, Susan.
