Scones from Heaven?

Scones are a type of baked goods, similar to biscuits but much richer.

They are often served at tea parties with strawberry jam and clotted cream and are popular in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Once a person bites into one, life will never again be the same. They are intensely delicious. I love them with plain, unsalted butter.

One of my very favorite YouTube vloggers is a man named Kevin Lee Jacobs.

He is a master baker, cook, floral designer,  gardener, interior decorator, and more.

I've watched dozens upon dozens of his videos and his warm and caring personality makes me feel like he's a kind of brother that I never had.

I tried one of his recipes for rhubarb scones (Kevin pronounces them the Scottish way.....scons),  and they melted in my mouth.

Please check out his website if you want to have a pleasant experience and find some fabulous recipes.

Shown in this post are photos of rhubarb scones I made this morning.

While it looks like a lot, many are for gift-giving.

Rhubarb scones from Kevin absolutely rock!

DO YOU LIKE SCONES?

Not a fan of scones. Would rather have an English muffin or blueberry muffin or croissant any day. Glad you enjoy them. Not a fan of rhubarb either but I bet the people you gave them too loved them same as you.

Yes I do enjoy scones. Yum. I’m someone who enjoys foods with texture and besides taste, that’s one of the things I appreciate.

Those look good, when made right scones and biscuits are addictive. I make angel biscuit, I'm at high altitude and sometimes baking powder/soda are unpredictable, the yeast is insurance.

these look sooo good. I do love scones and my favorites are anything with lemon and blueberries. Then to add some cream to the plate.. oh so good. Thanks for sharing.

Your scones look scrumptious, Susan. I was first introduced to scones from a church friend. She had me over one day, and she served tea and scones. I loved them ever since. A good idea to add rhubarb to the recipe. So nice that you will be giving some of your scones as gifts. They will surely love them.
