Followers who have been around for awhile, might remember that my all time favorite doll from childhood is Tiny Tears.
I named her Michele.
She accompanied me wherever I went, as a kid, for years.
She was a gift to me from my late Godmother Ann and Godfather Frank when I was about six years old.How she finally disappeared from my life is a mystery.
However, many decades later, my daughter found an exact replica of my Tiny Tears doll online, ordered her , and gave her to me for Christmas one year.
She's been with me ever since.
Now preparing for Christmas of 2025, I thought it would be so wonderful to find a velvet dress for my little sweetheart.
There, on ebay, the perfect velvet dress with pretty lace at the bottom, showed up.
I ordered it and it arrived today.
What joy to put the beautiful, lacy dress on my precious childhood dolly!
This has been an excellent early Christmas present for me!
DID YOU HAVE A FAVORITE CHILDHOOD DOLL OR TOY?

Oh congrats. I’m so glad you found what you were looking for. It looks great on your Tiny Tears Doll.
Your tiny tears doll looks so pretty and festive for the Christmas season, Susan. I remember your daughter finding another one just like your childhood doll. I've always loved velvet, what a special dress you found for her. I like the lace trim at the bottom. When I was a young girl, I was into Barbies, and at one time, Trolls. My neighbors had so many of them, and we would play for hours. Oh, those memories have stayed with me forever.

She looks so pretty. My favorite “toy” was the piano. I loved playing and practicing!
What a pretty doll and outfit! I had a Tiny Tears, but her hair was painted on. She's long gone but was a favorite for me, too. Good memories!
