Items have to be selected and some get left behind in plastic totes for next year.
The Santa plate displayed and shown in this post has been packed away for a few years but he hopped out of storage for Christmas, 2025.
Our original house was large and it was great fun decorating all the many rooms.
Now, however, it's solo living and the apartment is way too small to accommodate all the decor from each season.
Lots of holiday treasures have been sold or given away but there are still too many.
However, the pillow, shown below, just called out to come home.
It looks adorable on the couch, between two pink velvet pillows.

I like to rotate my Christmas decorations as well. I like the Santa plate!
Today is ST. Nicholas day so that Santa dish is perfect to display on your blog Susan. He's cute. I like your pillow too. I have three Christmas pillows up in my living room and a Santa teapot on my dining room table. I'm finally getting my decorations out little by little.
The gingerbread pillow is delightful, Susan. I just love gingerbread things and foods at Christmastime. Your plate is cute too. I made a ceramic plate with a big jolly red Santa many years ago, and I haven't let it go yet. There's just some things worth keeping, right?
Have a peaceful weekend, and a merry December week ahead, Susan.

That pillow is cute! I can see why it came home. I have done that as well, downsized holiday stuff and then also left some in bins. This year I had to get new lights and I love them. I love seeing the lights. Wishing you a fun rest of your weekend. Cheers, Ivy
I have several boxes of Christmas decor and I honestly do not have the space to add any more. I have them marked by theme so I usually only pull out the things for whatever my decor is going to be. Your plate and the pillow are so nice..
