So far, this has been the worst winter we've had in quite a spell.
We've had tons of snow and single digit as well as minus degree temperatures.
It has been quite challenging.
While I'm grateful that my car has held up so far, thoughts of the coming electric bill send even more chills down my spine.
Regarding snow, where does it go if not left on the streets?Well, recently, driving in one shopping center area, it felt like being on another planet.Huge piles of the white stuff were everywhere.
Surely, that plaza is one of the many snow dumping grounds around.
Kids would probably love climbing to the top of one of those piles and sliding down.
Visions of daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips keep me going as I pull on the warmest top in the wardrobe as well as warm socks.
HOW MANY DAYS LEFT UNTIL SPRING?

That is a lot of snow. I would imagine after a while, your eyes get tired if seeing white all the time. I have lovely daffodils in my hill that come every January. They brighten my winter with color and the promise of spring!
I know you'd rather have winter than hot humid summer weather Susan but this year it is a challenge. Spring and Fall go by too quickly. Winter and Summer last longer I think. Keep your heat on as elderly people can get all kinds of things in frigid weather.. Stay safe and warm. Spring won't be here for a few more months.
I would definitely say that you have had tons of snow. wow...so much. 49 days away and Spring will be here.... whoop Eeeee.
I see this big hump of snow in the parking lot at the grocery store whenever we get a big snow. The plow trucks pile it up, so the drivers can come in and out safely, which I appreciate. Yes, the electric bill is higher in the winter for sure, but we still have a few months of winter left, and I'm not ready for Spring. Stay warm, Susan. And you took such lovely pics of the piles of snow.
