A Make Your Own Sunshine Day

On sunny days, the glass cross shown in this post makes hundreds of rainbows all over the ceiling and walls of my bedroom.

That's a heck of a great way to start a new day of life.

There is something magical about being surrounded by mini-rainbows and lots of them.

On dark, overcast days, however, of which Massachusetts has many, there is no sun and, therefore, no colored prisms.

Those are the days people must make their own sunshine.

Today is one of those.

There is still a plan for the day and that makes the gloom easier to swallow.

The sunshine must be in our hearts and minds.

When it is, the day will still be beautiful and filled with promise.

May you, on this day, wherever you are, carry sunshine in your heart.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOUR HEART CARRY SUNSHINE TODAY?

Sounds like a great way to start off the day.

Today the sun will bring flowers and fruit trees blooming in my garden into my heart, and I'm just waiting for the first flowers of the beautiful pink magnolia outside my window to open.

"The sunshine must be in our hearts and minds".......those are some of the most beautiful words, my friend. I remember this Cross that makes rainbows all around the room. It's very pretty. I hope you get some sunshine in the days ahead. But until then, you are filled with the sunshine in your heart that is needed through the day. I hear a dove cooooing in the distance as I write this, and that is making my heart happy. : )

So very pretty Susan. My front door has beveled glass and in the evenings, the sun shines through creating several rainbow colors on my floor. I love seeing it

Susan, thank you for your comment on my blog. These are all photos of flowers from my garden that have bloomed in my flower beds over the past twenty years. I am an agronomist and used to write articles for our newspaper, and now I publish gardening tips here on the blog. And I am glad to see that people read my instructions. Here in Croatia today was a wonderful day, sunny and pleasant, without wind. My plum and peach are blooming today, they are wonderful. But I am afraid of the frost and cold that meteorologists are announcing. Warm greetings from the Kupa River Valley in central Croatia.
