Daffodils Always Spreading Their Gold on April Hills

 Daffodils are delightful spring flowers.

Their bright yellow color lifts the spirit and gives hope to our weary world.

For fun, I like to refer to them as "daffodillies."

Even a small bouquet of them in a vase on the table guarantees joy upon every glance.

There's a song that many teachers have taught to students in the spring.

Part of the lyrics are:

"Daffodils, daffodils, spreading your gold on the April hills.

Joy you bring, in the spring,

        Sweet smelling daffodils"

DO YOU LIKE DAFFODILS?

We're trying to get some "color" going around here. Our place hadn't been taken care of in years before we bought it, so now we're playing catchup.

Lovr daffodils . I have some planted right outside my dining room window and they bloom every year. They are gone by now but mini yellow roses are taking their place right now.
