Original Floral Art

It's always exciting to find original floral art, signed by the artist.

At the super duper church yard sale this weekend, a most beautiful painting made my heart beat faster.

It is signed by Maria Aponte.

It depicts flowers in lovely shades of pink and coral.

My cousin pointed it out to me and it was love at first sight.

Unbelievably, it cost only $4.00!

There is a gallery wall in the bathroom but I have no idea how to hang this painting as it's glass covered and not light in weight.

This is a rental, not my own place, and Command hooks have not worked well at all when it comes to paintings.

Right now the lovely new painting is propped up against the wall near the floorboards.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS OF HOW TO HANG ART?

I have no idea how to help you but it is a beautiful painting. I have a similar rose painting in my family room which I got from a friend a long time ago.

A beautiful piece of art work. I have found that the 20 Lb command strips work very well. I have several in our home that are holding some heavy pieces of art.

Ooooo, that's pretty, Susan. It kind of looks like Fall with the colors and the dark frame. I have the same problem as you. I don't like to poke holes in the painted walls, so I usually just stand the pictures against a wall on a dresser. If the picture is lightweight, it will go nicely on an easel. I am enjoying seeing the goodies you brought home from the church sale. : )
