A Favorite Back Yard Purchase

 

Almost everyone has a favorite purchase made for the backyard or patio.

Mine is a fountain.

 One late fall, before winter hit, I bought it at Home Depot.

 My late hubs, God bless his soul, put it together and then got it all wrapped up for winter.

 It was not until the following spring that he got it up and running, much to my heart's content.

 The fountain is one of the best purchases I ever made. 

It has brought me immense peace and contentment.

I love to sit outside by it and listen to the trickling water and hear the songs of all the neighborhood birds.

 This past Mother's Day, my daughter and SIL gifted me with a humongous deep pink petunia plant.

 It looks divine in front of the beautiful fountain and I am so deeply grateful.
