Here's to LIFE!

How does one even begin to express a heart filled with gratitude for a super duper birthday?

The entire month of September has been a gala birthday month.

My little granddaughter was born the day before my own birthday and there were celebrations galore for both of us!

Truly, the abundance of love, kindness and generosity shown  overwhelms me.

I got so many awesome phone calls, text, blog and email messages, numerous renditions of the birthday song sung to me, at least a dozen cards and a small mountain of wonderful, deeply appreciated gifts.

Shown to the right is a huge basket filled with gifts from my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.

 We had a delicious dinner, too, and below is a photo of my favorite spring rolls:

One of my all time sayings came to pass this special September birthday:  "To love and be loved is the  greatest joy on earth."

To every well wisher who contributed to my special day, thank you, from the bottom of my very full and happy heart.
