One More Week for Christmas Decor

The room where we spend the most time around here, during the  entire Christmas season, is the kitchen.

The table is set, around the clock, with decorative tablecloths, placements, and the advent wreath.

Naturally, there's lots of baking and cooking going on from Dec. 1st onward.

It is all winding down, now, with only a week to go until we pack it all up and put it away until, (hopefully), another Christmas season.

The holiday fanfare across the windowsills, as seen in this post's photos, will be gone, too, and exchanged for bare sills to meet the new year.

Isn't this the most delightful of all seasons?

It's magical. and when it's all over, there is a feeling of bittersweet.

We feel sad, yet kind of relieved, that it's coming to an end.

Then we look forward to the new year and start fresh, all over again.

HAVE YOU THOUGHT OF ONE THING YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO DIFFERENTLY IN 2018?
