Easter Egg Tree

 Whenever we have little guests coming,  I try to think of something fun for them to do.

It would be so boring to be little and surrounded by all adults and just listen to them talk.

It really galls me when parents expect little kids to act like adults or statues by sitting and not moving.

Kids are kids. They are not adults and they are not statues. They need things to keep their little hands busy. 

This year, little guests at our house had an important task. 

They decorated the Easter egg tree!

All the doodad decorations were placed on a paper plate near the bare branches of the tree so small hands could reach right in and select whatever decorations they wanted to use. 

You should have seen their eyes get big when told what their "job" was!

They made it look pretty, too.

 All he kids seemed to enjoy looking around at all the other Easter decorations.

 Even some of the adults had a few chuckles.
