Each season calls for its own decor in the home.
It's a blessing and a privilege to make our homes appealing, according to our own, individual tastes.
In the fall, I like to put different themed cloths on the kitchen table like this one:
Twice a year a company called Primitive Artisans holds an outdoor sale of their merchandise in a Western Massachusetts town.
It's a wildly popular sale. People come in large groups to rummage through open boxes set out in a fenced-in parking lot.
It's so much fun. They always have lots of tablecloths, place mats and other items for the home.
And in stores like Target, there are even dish towels with autumn themes. They add to the ambiance of our kitchens!
I found a bunch of faux leaves at a yard sale. They were really cheap but colorful.
I put them into an old-fashioned pitcher with a thick glass handle. Voila! Instant table centerpiece!
