Unique Dining Decor

Occasionally, one finds a place to dine that sets it apart from all others.

Gypsy Joynt Cafe, a family run place in the town of Great Barrington, in Western Massachusetts, shines like a sunbeam in the world of unique eating places.

The decor, as well as the luscious food, is one of the things that sets this place apart from any other I've ever been to.

Strings of bright white and colored lights zig zag from the ceiling along with chandeliers, capiz shells, mobiles, pinatas, scarves, a violin, and more assorted decorations than one can ever even dream about.

Then there are the walls----advertising signs and mirrors meld with paintings, photos and every other kind of doodad imaginable.

A pair of large horns with decorations frame a window to the kitchen that turns out yummy food of every array.

Truly, the food at Gypsy Joynt Cafe pleases the taste buds.

Check out  these cinnamon buns!

It's all fresh and made on the spot.

The day of my first visit, I had a Linda Louise quesadilla----grilled tortillas filed with artichokes, chevre and black olives, along with other ingredients.

The green pesto mayonnaise was especially delectable.

 My friend ordered roasted veggies:

As Rachel Ray would say, "Yum."

From the icy water served in Mason jars to the homemade cookies and other desserts, this place makes you want to strike up the violins and start dancing to a catchy gypsy tune.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A VERY UNIQUE EATING ESTABLISHMENT?  IF YES, CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT IT?
