There is something magical about late afternoon sunlight.
Whatever room walked into at that time of day tends to be bathed in liquid gold. When it streams through lace curtains, it leaves lovely patterns on the walls.
These days, any sunshine is a welcome sight but late afternoon sunshine is extra special. It disappears quickly, welcoming the cold, starless winter nights.
Sometimes, it's nice to stand in front of a window and let the sunlight pour onto one's face. It's at moments like that I like to whisper a few words to the Creator, giving thanks for the precious simple pleasure of the afternoon sun. Then, it's gone and one can only hope for its return during the next day of life.WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TIME OF DAY?
