Outdoor Manger Scene in a "Cave"

That night, so long ago, was still and cold but clear.


Stars sparkled like diamonds in the pitch black sky.

One star shone down like a beacon in the night. 

It illuminated the desert where kings rode camels.

They looked for a newborn baby, said to be the Son of God.

Then, they found the newborn baby in a manger.  The steamy breath from nearby animals felt warm upon the precious child.

This year, 2015, to commemorate that miraculous night of Christ's birth, hubs made a manger scene for the front yard. 

He designed it to resemble a cave!

 A spotlight strategically placed nearby illuminates the whole humble scene.


It is a perfect reminder of the real reason for Christmas.
