Having a second floor home office is a real gift.
It's a quiet place with two walls that are primarily huge windows.
It's a pleasant place to work at a desk and on the computer.
A table adjacent to the desk is covered with plants, both real and faux.
What immediate joy it is to see a brave little flower rearing her head in the sun.
Temps are already chilly here so who would expect a flower to bloom?
The big pink flowers look so real but, in all honesty, they are faux but that doesn't make them any less lovely in the afternoon sun.
It's imperative in these turbulent, nerve-racking times, to seek joy in the little things.
