Teapot "Vase"

A table set with a nice, white cloth and a centerpiece of lovely flowers makes dining extra special.

Recently, two dear friends invited me to lunch at the grand old Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

I couldn't help but notice what looked to me like a sweet silver teapot holding flowers in the middle of  our table!

  It was even inscribed with the inn's name.

Even if one were having only tea and crackers, they would taste extra special if  presented with a touch of elegance!

Flowers adorned other tables, too, and the flowers were set in  different kinds of vases.

Even looking at chandeliers was quite delightful! 

It's nice to have an occasional change of pace to someplace different from our own homes!
