Some people come home to pet dogs that they love with all their hearts.
Cat people prefer their fabulous felines.
Of course, coming home to a loving husband or wife is nice, too.
Those of us who no longer have spouses or pets have to find other things pleasant to come home to.
For me, it's a couple of sweet dolls.
Both wear dresses in my favorite color, pink, of course.
They sit in a corner of the couch, against a pink pillow.
Seeing them upon coming into the living room from the front door never fails to evoke a smile.
It's true that sometimes it's just the little things in life that bring us the most joy.
