Strawberry Rhubarb Golden Vanilla Cake!

Happy Monday morning, dear sweet blog peeps:

During the weekend, I reached into a cupboard to pull out a vox of golden vanilla cake mix and there was not a single one left.

Drat. Company was coming and I wanted to have something to serve them.

So I ran to the computer, found a recipe for Golden Vanilla Cake at this link  and gave it a shot.

I opened a can of strawberry rhubarb pie filling that was on hand, spread it over the top of the cake, marbled it through the batter and popped it into the oven. 

It was delicious and came out great.

It got rave reviews and could not possibly have been easier.

By the way, it was a lot better than a boxed mix cake!
