Stretching Summer....

When it comes to seasons, usually I am  of the autumn or spring persuasion.

Not too hot, not too cold is a good motto.

Summer?  Not so crazy about it.

However, the longer days and bright golden hues from sunshine are quite pleasant.

An occasional bit of recreational therapy is still with me. That is, thrift store and estate sale shopping, and even some yard sales, if they sound like they are going to be pretty good.

Last weekend, an estate sale called me to venture out. It was well worth it.

The late owner,  of all the things in the house, had identical taste to mine.

Even what was most likely her favorite color, pink, is my fave, too.

One of the treasures I picked up is a bright, adorable, light and dark pink floral wreath.

Thoughts of yellow, orange, and red fall colors came to mind but went right out again.

There are still some days of summer left.

I'd like to enjoy them.

Sure enough, the wreath looks pretty on the apartment door!

I got the wreath for just pennies so, in this case,  I'm sure glad it's still summer.
