Sunday Blessings

Each day of life is a gift.

So many people went to bed last night and some never woke up.

That's how fast we can be whisked out of this earthly life.

One of the best ways to start the day is to thank God for the new day of life before even getting out of bed.

We can make the most out of our Sunday.

In addition to keeping holy the Lord's day, we can help honor Him by thinking of others;  helping someone in need; being cheerful; offering a helping hand to a person who lives alone; easing the difficulty of being a single mother by offering to take her kids to your house for an hour and that is just the very tip of the iceburg.

May your own Sunday be filled with blessings and may you experience His presence in your life.

Let the miracles begin!

Sunday Blessings

It looks like another beautiful Sunday outside my living room window.

The sun is shining, skies are blue, brilliant yellow and orange colored trees are silhouetted against the sky, making a delightful sight.

All good things come from the Lord definitely resonates in my own life.

Each gift, every friend, special experiences, and the joys of autumn are all from His hand.

When I think of this, my heart fills to the brim with happiness.

May your Sunday today be super blessed.

I will be thinking of you...

Sunday Blessings

Today is the fourth Sunday of Lent on the Christian calendar.

Lent includes the 40 days of preparation, fasting, and sacrifice before glorious Easter.

Easter, of course, marks remembrance of Christ rising from the dead, three days after a brutal crucifixion.

In many Christian churches, priests wear rose-colored attire today which represents the joy which is to come on Easter.

Today is called Laetare Sunday.

"Laetare" is a Latin word that actually means "rejoice."

Here's hoping your day will be filled with many good things including flashes of joy.

The little bunny attached to the plate in the photo above makes me smile.

She reminds that even when one's plate is not full, one can be happy!

WHAT IS ONE THING THAT CAN BRING YOU JOY TODAY?
