Valentine Teddy

Around Christmas time, while perusing a Goodwill Store,  I happened to look over at  a big bin of  stuffed animals.

There was no way I was in the market for stuffed animals but a very pretty red and gold teddy bear caught my attention.

She was so  elegant-looking. 

The teddy was very inexpensive so I brought her home and gave her several whirls in the drier with a fabric softener sheet.

She joined the holiday animals I bring down from the attic at Christmas time.

However, when they all got put away until next December, the red and gold teddy stayed put.

She got transferred to a rocking chair on the table in the front hall and there she sits, awaiting the day of love, Valentine's Day.
