Everyone has something they consider one of life's little joys.
One of mine is going to good quality yard sales.
An annual church sale in a town about 40 miles away always lives up to its reputation of being one of the best sales around.
This year was no exception.
It's a joy to share with you some of the found treasures but they will not all be in one post.
There is no need to bore you. ha!
One of the best finds was a black table cover with deep pink roses, turquoise flowers, and green leaves on it.
It has black fringe, too, and reminds me of something worn by a girl in the Polish countryside.
It is now on the front hall table and has a vase with gladiolas on top (among other items.)
WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR OWN LIFE'S LITTLE JOYS?
Yard sale season is definitely upon us.
Loved the pretty rose-covered box, shown at top of post.
There's nothing like looking for treasures among somebody else's junk.
It's impossible to pass-up pretty Christmas balls.
Actually, estate sales usually have the best buys and selection, but not always.
Today I'm showing you some recent spur-of-the-moment yard sale purchases.
I liked this panel for two bucks.
Any ideas on what I can do with it?
White dishes have been on my "want" list forever.
Here were many dishes for a total of $2!
They look nice on the lacy liners.
Anyone ever use Mod Podge? What do you use it for?
Loved this $1.00 mirror and gave it to one of my sisters.
This mirror, also a buck, ended up in hub's mancave.
WHAT IS YOUR NUMBER 1 RULE PERTAINING TO YARD SALES?
