Believe it or not, Halloween is not a favorite holiday around here.
Scary things don't make the heart happy, especially when children are involved.
It'd be quite impossible to find many scary things among the fall decorations in the apartment.
But wowsers, when walking into a Goodwill thrift store in recent weeks, a few witches caused a bit of jaw-dropping.
They were really scary looking as they stood near their cauldron, close to the check-out station.
I couldn't get out of there fast enough and there was no looking backward.
At least whoever designed them is creative.
This past week, when visiting the same thrift store, they were gone. Sold! Thank goodness.
