WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO READ ON THIS BLOG?

Dear Readers:

Today I am writing to you to ask your input.

It would be very helpful to me to know what kinds of posts you like to read. Since October of 2009, I have written on my cranberry glass, doll, paperweight, and other  collections, interior decorating, art, day trips,  thrift store acquisitions, and on and on. So here are some questions for you:

       1.  What kinds of posts do you enjoy reading? Have you had any favorites that you can think of?

       2.  Also, do you like the fact that I post daily or would you prefer only a few times a week?

      3. Do you ever read the inspirational quotes on the sidebar?

      4. Do you ever look at the Google ads on this blog?

Those are my questions to you today.  Sometimes, I'm unsure of whether what interests me interests you.  So that's why I would love for you to expound a bit.

I look forward to your responses.

It is my sincere hope that all of you have a great day today.  Thank you so much for stopping by and for commenting!  Your opinions count a lot in my book!

                                                                                                                        Sincerely, Susan

Susan, I like that you write about many different subjects. It makes me feel like I am getting to know you better. It is also how I blog so maybe that's part of it. I read whenever you post so if daily is your thing do it. I myself find that 3-4 times a week is what I'm comfortable with most of the time. I don't usually look at the ads but I do read the quotes on the side bar. That's my input, but I say write what feels good to you and we will follow!!
Hugs,
Linda

Hi Susan: This comment is not going to help you at all. I love all the different things you write about. It is who you are. I read everything except the advertizing, sorry. Your quotes are one of my favorites. So, the moral of the story is . . . write on sister! Love you, Martha PS. I wrote you again with my address, let me know if you get it. Blessings!

I agree with Linda and Martha - I love your blog - I enjoy learning who you are - I read the quotes - not the ads - so write with what you are comfortable writing about - it's for you - it's your heart and soul - and write as often as you feel comfortable with too -

write on Susan --

It shouldn't matter what "we" like. You should be blogging for yourself. What do I enjoy about your blog? Show and tell, as in "I got this for $$ at goodwill. I am all about the deals so,....I hope to get a camera and one of my kids to show me how to post pics and stuff cuz I am the Duchess of Deals.

Susan... I have enjoyed all of your posts and yes I do read the quotes... but ultimately... when you write what makes YOU happy... what interests YOU... that is what shares YOUR personality and interests and afterall... isn't that what blogging is all about. This is your blog and we love that your share it with us... whatever it is that you post...

Susan, I have not been reading long enough to say much. However, I will say I return to your blog becasue: it is beautiful, well-written, soothing in design and style, pictures are lovely. Some blogs are so busy and cluttered. I read blogs to escape that very thing in my own life!

I do agree with Middle Child above that is should satisfy you first. :)

I enjoy your photos of your day trips and other scenery the most. This is not to say that I don't enjoy your other posts too:)

Your posting schedule, I think, is entirely up to you. What do you enjoy? I am sorry that I cannot make it here every day as my schedule is usually pretty crazy. But I come as often as I can.

I do not read the google ads, but I don't usually read them anywhere else I go. The time factor is the main reason.

Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Blessings,
Karen

Hi Susan! It appears that we're all on the same wave length here! I love it that you write about various things, post photos, etc...and let us get to know YOU! And how often you write, is stictly up to you. Lately, I haven't had time to stop by daily, but I always try to! I don't look at the ads, either....on yours or anyone's blogs, and I DO notice and read the quotes!! Because it really is all about..♪♫ Getting to know you....getting to know all about you.. ♪♫

Hi Susan...

I love photos like the one you posted here...pretty things you collect...your sentiments...
a blog is an external 'not private' extension and expression of yourself, your thoughts, your likes and whatever might strike your fancy.
so, post whatever you like, whenever you like to post...
i post every day...and when people can stop in, that's marvelous!!!!

and no, i find i do not ever stop to read a google add.

Dear Susan,
I'm fairly new to your blog, but now, I HAVE to come daily! It is a great blog, and would love to answer the questions you listed.

1. Coming from a complete different country, I deeply enjoy when friends share their surroundings. Every post in deeply interesting, but taking a look through the surroundings of your friend's is amazing. It lets me learn more about that person, and lets me "travel".

2. I admire you for posting daily! I post every two days, and rarely on the weekends. But I suppose it's up to every person. As long as it doesn't become an imposition, and a troubling task, it doesn't really matter how often you write an entry.

3 & 4. I do read the inspirational quotes and everything on the sidebar, but only "glance" and the google ads :-)

Just my two cents...
have a great day!
