One of life's Simple Pleasures is looking at clouds.
Have you ever stretched out on your back on the ground and gazed up at the sky? Seeing clouds from this position is nothing short of amazing. Kids do it all the time.
Of course viewing clouds fills a heart with gratitude for the gift of sight. It's an immense gift that must never be taken for granted.

The big fluffy white clouds were the first thing my 11 year old noticed when arrived to the States. We don't seem to have those kind of clouds around these parts often.
Thanks for sharing your blue skies and clouds o imagination. :) Best wishes, Tammy
Hi Susan: We still look at the sky and imagine things. It is such a peaceful thing to do. I love to take pictures of the sunset. Have a wonderful week. Blessings, Martha
I love this, Susan! Even at my age, I still enjoy lying on my back and staring at the clouds, and I still find silly pictures in the patterns. It's a peaceful and simple pleasure, there for the taking.
Thanks for linking up. I had a little glitch earlier, but got it fixed. I set things on "auto-pilot" on Thursday, and somehow this one slept late. LOL!
we love looking up at the clouds and seeing stuff in them...it's a great simple pleasure. have a great day....
Loving clouds too, and it's a good thing. We are going to see some rain today!
The older I get, the more in tune I become to those things of beauty around me like a sky full of clouds. Too often, I think, we expect a full on "color show" in the skies when the simple beauty of blue and white is so stunning all by itself.
Wonderful simple pleasure! I agree!
"Bows and bows of angel hair and ice cream castles in the air".......I've looked at clouds that way"...Rmember that song ..that's what today's post reminded me of...xo
Ahhhh....you are so right on with this post today. As we all get older and the days pass more quickly, we can easily forget to take the time to lay back in the sweet green grass, take a deep sigh, gaze up at the beautiful blue sky above us, and just appreciate everything around us...Thanks for the reminder today! :)

Oh, this is very humbling! I can't remember the last time the kids and I did this. I think I know what's on tap for this weekend! I can almost feel the calm come over me now.
Excellent post! What a wonderful simple pleasure.
Hi Susan! Great post. I, too, still love to look at the clouds and just kind of daydream. I always get my grandkids to do it, too, at least for a second or two. With their electronic minds, it's something "odd" to them!
