Surprises Make Life Extra Special

In the midst of busyness and problem-solving in life, something that brings an element of surprise is always welcome.

During a walk near a lake in New England, a bolt of sunshine shot down from the sky. It created a shimmering display of melted gold on the rippling water.

The walk, while refreshing and beneficial, in itself, now became a highlight of the day.

Surprises make life extra special. Next time you get one, take note of it and let it fill your heart with satisfaction.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU GOT A SURPRISE?

What a peaceful place to take in all that nature has to offer. I get surprised by people all the time. Most of the time it is a rather pleasant surprise.

I, too, wish I was there walking with you, Susan! You always share such beautiful photos with us. Thank you for that!

I get daily surprises, just by "being" and being aware!

Hey Susan, I came over from Terri Tiffany's blog. My husband went to Oxford for 2 months to do his outside studies for his Ph.D. This sweet man made arrangements with a local florist to have flowers delivered to my office every two weeks. We will celebrate out 30th anniversary this month. He's by far my best surprise.
