Monday Metamorphosis: The Bunnies Hopped Back for Another Easter

Today's post has joined Metamorphosis Monday on Susan's blog, Between Naps on the Porch. Be sure to go there to check out other home projects. Just click http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

It's a well known fact that real bunnies multiply quite rapidly. Not previously known is the fact that "stuffed" bunnies do, too.

This past weekend, after going up to the attic to retrieve some Easter decorations, I reached into one plastic bin and pulled out some bunnies.  Out they came, one by one, in a rainbow of pastel colors.

After I pulled out about the 15th bunny, I closed that bin and opened another. More bunnies came tumbling out! Unbelievable.

To tell you the truth, it was a little scary. After retrieving some door and wall decorations, I closed the second bin and ran out of the attic.

There are more Easter bins up there. How many more bunnies could there be? Think I'll save the rest of the bins for next year and swear-off forever more buying another cottontail.

Anyway, it's starting to look Easter "festivas" around here.

DO YOU DECORATE FOR EASTER?

I used to collect bunnies and teddy bears but had to put a lid on that as it was getting quite out of control. Obviously there has been some hanky panky taking place in your attic all year long. :) Have a marvelous Monday! Tammy

Cute bunnies. I keep my ceramic bunnies out all year on a shelf in my kitchen and bring out the chocolate ceramic bunnies at Easter.

I can attest to the fact that sweet pastel-colored bunnies, stuffed or not, do rapidly multiply. I can't wait to get mine out and see the new "babies".

Best,
Bonnie

Hi Everybody! So happy you all have stopped by to visit. Looks like visits multiplied during the night, too!

I want to send a warm welcome to Luisa, this blog's 197th Follower! She lives all the way in Italy! Bienvenidos, Luisa. (That's in Spanish but maybe it's similar in Italian!) Hope you stop by often. Arrividerci!

Hope each of you has a great day! Susan

As you know, Easter in Guatemala and most of Latin American countries take a religious path. If people decorate - which I do - it too takes that path. Just over the weekend (more of that in a future post at my blog...stay tuned!) I decorated in purple, and added some really unique, really pretty candles that go with the whole festivity.
Could you please enlighten me and tell me why are bunnies related to Easter, and people decorate with them and eggs? It is not how we "roll" here :o), so I'm must curious.
Lovely bunnies, though! I like the floral one ;o)
have a lovely day!!

Our daughter's bedroom used to be decorated in bunnies! I'd framed several Beatrix Potter calender pictures, had a rabbit border, & bunnies coming out of our ears! Eventually she outgrew her bunnies & I kept a few. You certainly have a bunch/bevy/herd/or whatEVER you call them!

I thought I had too many rabbits, as I keep several out all year. But then I saw yours...wow, what a bunny collection! I can't match ya, Susan! On bunnies, but maybe on tea cups, ha, ha.
