Today is a day of celebration!
It's the Fourth of July!
It's a great day to be American.
Flags proudly fly, stars and stripes wave in the breeze. They make the hearts of Americans fill with emotion.
So many soldiers died to give us the right to be free. Today, amid the hoopla and happiness, it's good to remember them, too.
Drummers drum! Buglers blast! Band members march!
Children watch parades wide-eyed, their hearts beating fast with excitement.
Afterward, hamburgers and hot dogs will sizzle on grills. Please pass the mustard!
What a day! What celebrations! What a country!
We love you! We honor you!
