Gift at the End of the Day

After a delightful day on Saturday,  we got an extra gift.

Driving home, the sky in front of us turned everything in sight to a hazy gold.

"Look at that sunset," I exclaimed and we all agreed how tremendously blessed we were to be seeing such immense beauty.

On top of a hilly road,  I pulled the car into the driveway of a golf course so we could feast our eyes upon the sky.

Brilliant gold melted into deep orange, creating a giant painting in the heavens. On the horizon, we could see rows of black trees silhouetted against the fiery sky.

After such a great day, the sunset was just an extra gift from the Creator.

WHAT WAS YOUR LAST SPECIAL UNEXPECTED GIFT  ?

I noticed yesterday that my miniature rose bush is in full bloom with multi-colored roses, now that the weather has cooled.

That is a gorgeous sunset. I look for gifts in the every day. My husband thinks I am crazy every time I see clouds or the changing colors of the sky and start snapping away. I told him I am grateful for the gifts from God. He certainly can't argue with that. :) Hope your day is great. Tammy

You captured a brilliant moment here. My daughter and I pulled over last night to take in it's glory too.

I love sun rises and sunsets over the ocean. You were indeed blessed! Its like God puts that kaliderscope across the sky to herald in the day or night. He never forget to show His love to us in every way.

The sunset is beautiful. My last unexpected gift was that my husband finished cooking the beef for me after I had an exasperated day. Being a grandma and not being able to see my grandkids as often as I would have liked to makes me miss them then I feel tired and lifeless. Hi, this is Munir over here at Focus. Thanks for sharing the sunset picture.

Hi Susan,
That was a beautiful sunset! I consider my lazy Sunday afternoon on the porch with a good book a gift as it was sunny and so beautiful today.

Thanks for all your kind words,

Carolyn
