Toot, Toot, Toot the Horn for Trader Joe's

Readers of this blog have read (many times) about excursions to Trader Joe's.

Just in case you missed previous posts, let it be said here that I love this store. It's kind of like an international supermarket.

The nearest Trader Joe's to where I live requires a one-hour commute and then, of course, another hour to get back home.

It's worth every second.  I LOVE this store.

Look at the sweet paintings of these little cow-folk, shown above and below. Now somebody spent a lot of time painting those!

They always, and I mean always, have fabulous flowers for sale that people can afford without breaking the bank!

Even gorgeous orchids!

How I LOVE hyacinths. They smell so divine and  are like a breath of springtime.

Everyone has favorites that Trader Joe's carries. Among mine are some of the frozen Indian food, shredded wheat cereal,  many of their cheeses, and lassi, a yummified yogurt drink.

Have you ever gone into a store, seen something, didn't buy it, and then regretted it?  That's how I feel about this little pot of herbs. Darn!  Should have picked one up but didn't.

If Trader Joe's came to a community near here, I'd be their best customer!

IF YOU HAVE BEEN TO A TRADER JOE'S, WHAT DID YOU LIKE BEST? SHARE IT WITH US!

I love Trader Joe's! They have fabulous baked bread, fresh flowers (as you mentioned), great coffee and I might add good prices. Just a fun place to shop. I have to drive a good 45 mins to one but try to go once in awhile. hugs Linda

Hi Susan,

That sounds like a great store, wish we would have a store like that around here. I too love the smells of hyacinths. Have a fantastic Saturday!

I have actually never heard of Trader Joe's. Looks interesting though.
The colors of those sweet flowers surely sing Spring! We are in the 30's here with strong winds making it feel like it is in the low 20's!!

Hugs,
Debbie

Luckily there is a Trader Joe's 10 minutes away. I love there frozen vegetable, tortilla chips, cheeses you name it. The only thing I don't but on a regular basis is the meat.

I also love Trader Joe's (and Whole Food too!) I have two favorites there: "Two-buck Chuck" (I think it may be Three-buck Chuck outside of California) and the cheesecake in the blue box, it is the best!

I can tell you had a blast visiting Trader Joe's! I had fun just reading about it in your post :) We have one nearby but I don't go there very often. I think I will stop in after reading this post!
