Today, I am so excited to share with you a truly magnificent collection of flow blue china.
A very dear person, Sally, has agreed to let you have a peek at her treasured pieces.
The teapot, shown below, once belonged to Sally's late sister, Leah. She wanted Sally to have it and gave it to her before she died.
The two of them were inseparable and Leah is very dearly missed, as one can only imagine.
Did you happen to see the post where we took a tour of Sally's home? If not, and if you are interested, you can read about it here:http://writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com/2012/03/home-tour.html
Flow blue pieces, by the way, have cobalt blue ink that has bled or flowed into the white background.
Some pieces even look fuzzy but that makes them even more unique!

The intricate tureen , shown below, has designs on the bottom. Sally has the top in a holder, too.
Flow blue china is highly sought and can be very expensive.
Of course, all collectors know that every new piece is worth it!

Rather than "talk" a lot about Sally's collection, here are more photos of her pieces. Enjoy!
Don't you love how so many pieces of her collections are placed on the wall-length shelves?

Here is a photo of Sally, herself, in her absolutely immaculate and inviting home!
Sally said at Christmas time, the flow blue china comes down to make room for Village pieces.
That must be really something to see!
Flow blue china comes in many different patterns. All are very easy on the eye!
Don't you just love looking at such intricate and artistic pieces?
These last pieces can be found on a charming buffet, topped with a white table runner.
ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH FLOW BLUE CHINA? DO YOU LIKE IT?

Oh that plate with 'ruffled' edges and gilding is gorgeous. To have a enough space to showcase such beauty.
Flow Blue China is gorgeous. I am going to pop over and see the rest of Sally's home.
I love blue and white and this collection is superb! She has so many unique pieces. I have a lot of pieces but very few are as distinctive as these. And a whole wall to display!!! Ah, I would feel right at home in this room...
What an amazing collection of such quality pieces!

I love the blue!
Fabulous collection and her display shelves are amazing. I've heard of flow blue but not familiar with it, this close up look was wonderful. hugs, Linda
Oh I love anything blue and white...my favorite colors...wonderful collection. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful! The collection really stands out being grouped together on those extended shelves. I do love blue and white. It used to be all over the house, but I've delegated it mostly to the kitchen and one bathroom now. :) Hope your day is a good one. Tammy
I am not familiar with them, but I thought they were just awesome - and when you see them piece by piece and then see them all on the wall - it is awesome looking! sandie
Gorgeous. I have one piece, a plate that was my grandmother's.
