The first day of spring arrived in golden sunshine glory!
When the sun beats down brightly and the temps go up, fruit comes to mind.
It's beautiful to look at, sweet to the taste, and easy on the waistline.
Whether they are blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, or strawberries, matters very little because I love them all.
Do you feel the same way?
So lunch on our very warm first day of spring included the lovely fruit you see here.
She is the lone survivor of last week's bouquet of lilies and she's going to be sweet to the end.
Along with the fruit for lunch came homemade chicken curry and rice. Mmm mmm mmm

The fruit looks inviting! It was warm here for a week or more. Now for two days it has been chilly rain. While we ate on deck one day last week, it was hot tea and warm carbs in the kitchen today!
Blueberries are my favorite. I stil remember going to pick them with Dad when we were little...fresh from the vine..yummy and so good for you too!

Mmmmm....those berries looks so yummy. My favorites are strawberries and blue berries together with some whipped cream...First day of spring was a bit cloudy over here, a bit chilly but at least you can wear the spring jacket again :) I love it!

Do they ever look appetizing. Strawberries and raspberries are two are my favorites, but really I am a fan of most fruit! Great photos.
