A Change of Scene Does Us Good

Day trips perk up our spirits.

Seeing a new town, or visiting a favorite familiar place, is good for us.

A change of scene is always welcome. Otherwise, life can get a little boring.

We recently combined an out-of-town medical visit with having fun.

We drove through a couple of towns and had a bite to eat in a nice restaurant.

(More about that in an upcoming post!)

Photos shown in this blog came from Waltham and Watertown, two Massachusetts towns near the capital, Boston.

See how beautiful everything looks, now that it's spring?

This bush looked glorious in  gorgeous pink blooms.

I couldn't resist snapping photos from every direction.

Spring's intense beauty makes a person smile, don't you think?

Sometimes the splendor of spring makes my head spin and I end up taking crooked pictures!

WHAT IS ONE BEAUTIFUL THING YOU HAVE SEEN TODAY?

Our rose bush must have gottena boost of fertilizer because it grew six inches, seemingly overnight and there are two dozen buds ready to open. Amazing.

Love your "head spinning" crooked picture! Love all of them, actually! Do you know what the name of those gorgeous flowers are? Or I guess it's a bush. It's beautiful! OKay....one beautiful thing I've seen today....Hmmm, so many to choose from. I guess I'll have to say my beloved dog, Vern!!
Oh, and P.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog, too, Susan!

Flowers and bushes bloom year round where I live..the whole place is beautiful. I guess the first beautiful thing I saw today was the gorgeous plants around the pool at the rec center when I took my aqua class this morning.

I stopped in at the grocery store today and spent time admiring the floral shop there. I will go back next week and pick up a bundle. Gorgeous!

The most beautiful thing I saw today was all the bees working so hard on the cherry tree blossoms. :) Kit

I am surprised to see it so wide and open in an area around Boston - not the way my son described it at all - it is beautiful there with all the flowers.

Andy is in a play and we practiced in a southern accent - our joy for the day.
