Stay in the Moment

One of the hardest things to do is remain in the moment.

There's always something in the future to plan for.

Usually, most of us have long lists of things that need to be done.

When problems come or we face challenging situations, we tend to worry.

How will the problem get solved?

What can we do to speed it along?

What will happen?

It's at those times that remaining in the moment is more important than ever.

While it's important for us to be able to solve problems, sometimes the best thing we can do is just turn them over to the Creator of the Universe.

We  do not need to worry about the future. As it's been said, "the future will take care of itself."

When worried about something, or waiting for a prayer to be answered,  I truly try to remain in the "now."

I just love the expression, "Yesterday's gone, tomorrow might not come, so all we have is today."  Let us live it well!

Today is a gift.

That's why they call it the "present."

So I like to close my eyes, turn everything over to God, and live in the moment. He'll take care of the rest.

HOW ARE YOU AT REMAINING IN THE MOMENT? CAN YOU DO IT?

Perfect post. Remaining in the moment-experiencing it rather than hiding. And it is possible because we have given up the worry to God. You are very wise.

Lovely post Susan,
I try my very best to remain in the moment. And there's no sense in worrying about things you have no control over. So the best we can do really is to remain in the now, and trust/believe that the future will be taken care of.
Enjoy your day my friend!

I love your flowers and when I stop to stare at them - I am in the moment. I will do some deep breathing exercises and will be in the moment. I can stop myself and say halt. Yet on the other side - I can run myself ragged. lol

So many great thoughts in your post, Susan! It does take effort to claim those worries and concerns and get back to living in the moment.

Your photos are beautiful and I am so happy you shared on Think on These Things! Thank you :)
