Great Food at cafeADAM

If you are hungry, today's post is going to make your tummy rumble.

Once again, our family visited the best restaurant in these parts, cafeADAM.

Now this fabulous eatery has graced this blog many times before.

You can read about it in more detail here:

Or here:

We go to cafeADAM on very special occasions. This time we had two things to toast to---the arrival home of our son for a short visit and an early celebration of Mother's Day.

Adam Zieminski, owner and chef extraordinaire, sent out two  appetizers, fried chick peas (ceci frito) with tandoori spices and a Spanish onion with turmeric-ginger sauce. Both tasted delicious.

For our main dishes, my daughter, son-in-law, and I choseNew Bedford scallops. They came with parsnip puree, spinach, peas, all in a white wine pan jus.Every bite was sumptuous.

My husband had the whippoorwill farm burger with fries, preceded by a kind of creamy leek soup.

We all had artichoke Caesar side salads that tasted fresh and flavorful.

My son said his tenderloin and fries should get an A+++ rating. The flavor, he said, was absolutely divine, right down to the very last, succulent bite.

I skipped dessert entirely but a couple people at our table ordered creme brulee and a decadent moltano hot chocolate ganache dessert.

Judging from the groans and sighs from that side of the table, the desserts (and the diners) were both winners.

One can peek right into the kitchen at cafeADAM and see the masters at work.

Because I have a penchant for checking out restaurant "facilities," I snapped these photos inside the "necessary room" at cafeADAM.

This is the unique mirrored side table, wall mural, and ceiling light in cafeADAM's restroom:

Outside on the patio, Adam's personable Polish wife, Sylwia, chatted with us and we let her know, once again, that cafeADAM is number one with our family.

OH I love the Cafe Adam. Whenever I come to New England I love to eat there. In my neck of the woods I have a favorite Thai restaurant that serves the most delicious plum wine and great dishes from Thailand as well as Chinese cuisine. I go there with friends on special occasions.

His wife is a little cutie pie! And the meal looked good. Is this where you went for Mother's Day?

We have a place we have gone to every May 11th since 1986 - called The Woodbridge Inn in Jasper,GA for our anniversary.

Those first two dishes sound absolutely divine. I would never, ever skip dessert in a restaurant like that. Hugs, Tammy
