Bouquet of Thoughts

Happy Monday, Everyone!

This past weekend was a doozie. oooo weeeee

There was a large and unique wedding to attend on Saturday, plus a major baby shower, followed by a birthday party on Sunday.

Even though exhaustion and tired feet threatened to do me in by Sunday night, another thought kept going through my head.

It was how lucky we are to attend happy events with people we love.

Weddings, showers, and birthday parties are among life's special treat events. We see relatives we haven't been in touch with for awhile and renew old friendships.

We laugh, remember  past times, and have a good time in the present.

Life can hold a lot of tears and sorrow, true, but the happy times carry us through.

The planter, shown at the top of this post, with  big, beautiful flowers is connected with my wish for you this week.

May it be a week filled with happy thoughts, good people, sweet memories and the joy of living in the here and how

Here is my answer to the question below. I definitely want to organize my piteously messy home office this week.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WOULD LIKE TO ACCOMPLISH HIS WEEK?
(Writing it down helps it come to fruition!)

Wow, what a busy week you had. Thanks Susan for taking the time to visit me. I love your big pot of beautiful flowers. Flowers always make me smile and feel good too. I'm looking forward to mailing my brother out a surprise package. He loves brown bread in a can (I know sounds yucky) and Wheatena cereral. They dont sell it where he lives so I boxed some up! Have a wonderful Monday and be kind to your feet..Sit a spell..

Thanks for the lovely visit to me blog!
This week has events lined up but I wait all morning for a call from doctor's office...not feeling well and they take their time around here! Have been reading and teaing on the deck while I wait...felt good although warm. Now have to give up...91 before noon as it climbs to 105 today!

Susan I really do need to organize my dishes. But that alone might take a few weeks! It sounds like you had a busy weekend but your right, it's so nice to keep in touch with friends and relatives.

Susan, you had a marvelous week-end!

This week's accomplishments? I just hope I don't gain any weight as we will not be at home for most of the week.:)

Beautiful blog, Susan.

I feel you have such a great family and group of friends out there - I am so happy for you. I know that while it was busy and a lot of work - the love there was amazing. sandie
