Perky Pinks Lift the Spirit

Around here, this has been an exceedingly busy and kind of frantic week.

How about you?  Have you had a busy week, too?

Today I want to show you something else that never fails to make me smile when I finally drive home and into the driveway.

It's seeing the flowers in our yard.

This year, the color theme is definitely pink, my favorite color in the whole world.

My hubs planted all of them and waters them, too. What a guy.

He even lined both sides of the brick walkway with sweet flowers.

The window boxes are also ablaze with blooms.

Look at the darling brick design he made around the trees! Isn't he clever?

When life speeds up and becomes stressful, take time to stop and enjoy flowers. Works like a charm!

DO YOU LIKE TO USE FLOWERS IN ONE COLOR OR A WIDE VARIETY?

I love your flower beds especially the stump garden! How sweet of your DH to plant and take of them! Mr. B thinks every flower in my gardens are lilies. Yes, I have a few lilies but what about the roses? The coreopsis? LOL! Have a restful weekend Susan! My week has just been so hectic that I feel I may need a break soon :-)

Oh, your flowers looks so fresh and lively! Here things droop even though they might live. Some of us are beginning to dump. Tomorrow--105! Heat cooks the flowers in the pots.

Oh, and thanks for such a nice comment on my blog. I have another OCD habit...toliet paper must come OVER the roll...ha, ha.

105 tomorrow, no way any darling little flowers are surviving this blast furnace, not even our bushes, but your flowers look so beautiful, Susan. I can see why they make you happy.
