Boston Harbor Boat Tour

One attraction that's popular with tourists in Boston is a boat tour around the harbor.

We did this on our one day getaway and found it to be a terrific  (in a good way) experience.

The sun and temperatures burned hot but on the boat a nice breeze made it comfortable.

Because we were in Boston, I had to have, what else?  A Sam Adams summer ale with a slice of lemon, of course.Had only one and it hit the spot.

Sure tasted good, too. We didn't have a chance to go on a tour of the Sam Adams brewery but maybe some day we will.

Loved seeing the skyline from the boat. So picturesque!

HAVE YOU EVER TAKEN A BOAT TOUR OF THE BOSTON HARBOR?

Sounds like a great day! We could have taken a boat tour while in Germany but didn't. There was lots of things we could have done but didn't get a chance to. We will definitely have to go back. Best wishes, Tammy

I rode a ferry from the USS Constitution side to the opposite side. We had walked the Freedom Trail with two kids and were pooped. Lovely skyline but at that time the water was really quite dirty. Has that changed?

I have seen the Boston Harbour from the shore but not sailed it. I have rode the Sydney ferries many times but the best day was lunch on a tall ship on a perfect day on Sydney Harbour with my son and daughter.

No, I haven't, but would certainly enjoy one! Have I mentioned before how much I would love to travel all over Massachusetts? We were actually in Boston for a short time - dinner - several years (13) ago, coming on the commuter train from Plymouth. It would be such fun to return!
