The Robbins-Zust family has been entertaining children of all ages for more than 40 years.
What a record!
Their company is called The Robbins-Zust Family Marionettes.
Genie Zust and her late husband, Richard Robbins, started the company, which was their dream. They even made the puppets by hand!
There are 130 puppets that present several different shows.
This past summer the company gave numerous presentations in Western Massachusetts such as Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Firebird, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White.
Genie and Richard had four children.
One of their sons, Dion, shown below, manages the puppet company today.
He's extremely personable and draws the audience into the shows with immense magnetism.
Dion's son, Milo, gets into some of the acts, too.
Gabe Jones plays the guitar in the shows and also provides sound effects.
This is a terrific company that even does shows for birthday parties, community events, libraries, schools and so forth.
The photos shown in this post were taken during a performance of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Here's ol' Jack, himself:
Check it out.
This marionette company is SO COOL!
